Description
Hydralyte Electrolyte Liquid helps replace water and electrolytes lost due to vomiting, diarrhoea, heavy sweating, vigorous exercise and excess alcohol consumption.
Common Uses
Hydralyte may be taken on the first signs of fluid loss due to vomiting and diarrhoea. Hydralyte may also be taken to help manage dehydration caused by heavy sweating, vigorous exercise, excess alcohol consumption, or due to a hot or dry environment.
Suggested Dosage
Do not dilute. Sip slowly. Refrigerate after opening and discard after 1 month. USAGE ADVICE Recommended dosage for dehydration due to vomiting and diarrhoea: Age in years: Under 12 months, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90 minutes, Max dosage per day: 1000mL. Age in years: 1-3 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 90 minutes, Max dosage per day: 1400mL. Age in years: 3-6 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 60 minutes, Max dosage per day: 2000mL. Age in years: 6-12 years, Recommended dosage: 100mL every 30 minutes, Max dosage per day: 2600mL. Age in years: 12-Adult, Recommended dosage: 200mL every 30 minutes, Max dosage per day: 4000mL.
Ingredients Per Dose
Sodium Chloride: 2.5mg/mL. Potassium Citrate (Monohydrate): 2.2mg/mL. Citric Acid Monohydrate: 4.8mg/mL. Glucose (Monohydrate): 16mg/mL.
Safety Information
Safety Directions: Seek medical advice if vomiting or diarrhoea persists for more than: – 6hours in infants under 6 months. – 12 hours in children 6 months-3 years. – 24 hours in children aged 3-6 years. – 48 hours in children over 6 years & adults.
